MACC arrests MBSA director over alleged bribery


PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has arrested the director of the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) enforcement department as part of investigations into claims that certain enforcement authorities are on the take from illegal businesses in Sungai Buloh.

It is learnt that MACC will investigate the director's involvement in the racket that provides protection to illegal gambling dens and premises that carry out illegal businesses.
